This means we live with awareness — using energy and water mindfully.
It’s a simple rhythm of giving and receiving, helping the land — and us — to stay in balance.

Our home runs entirely on solar energy, stored in batteries. The system loves moderation:
lights, phone chargers, laptops, and small appliances are perfectly fine.
High-wattage devices — such as hairdryers or electric heaters — can quickly drain the batteries, so we ask you to refrain from using them.

Living with solar power is a gentle reminder that energy, like sunlight, is a gift to be used with care.

The water you’ll use comes from a deep borehole and water wells on our property. It’s clean and pure, but also precious.

Portugal’s summers can be dry, so thoughtful use of water helps sustain the land.
